What folks are saying about Knoxville Highway...

Knoxville Highway We loved you ! Incredible diversity a song for everyone and every age group. They had the ability to spine tingle, heart swoon & the mind spark like the first time you heard Country. Dressed up in cowboy gear with boots, buckles and hats. Such a fun whip cracking night. Look forward to seeing you again Thank you !
Tim Carman Lazy 'R's Country Music club.
Had the band at our club last week and had a brilliant night. Not the first time they've been to the Lazy R's and are better than ever. Four very talented musicians with a wide ranging repertoire of tracks some of which are their own material. Thoroughly recommend them to any club that wants to have an entertaining act, on top of that they are real friendly guys and are happy to interact with their audience and mix in the breaks. Great band full stop.

Brilliant Country and Western Band - I searched online for a band for our Country and Western themed summer ball, came across Knoxville Highway and listened to some sample videos they had online. They were exactly what I was looking for. On the night they arrived, they really put me at ease. They were friendly and cheerful and took the time to ask what our needs were for the evening. They played a variety of music to suit our event, even did some requests at the end. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and commented on how good the band was! Thank you to you all for making the night a great one. Would definitely recommend again.

You guys were certainly the highlight of the festival and
consummate professionals! Thank you for everything and we hope to see you again.
Bernie Mead - Chairman Suffolk Outlaws CMC (30th Anniversary 2017).
Knoxville Highway, now a four-piece following the double bass player’s recent retirement, consisted of Bob Gessey on lead vocals, guitar and banjo, Stuart Neal on pedal steel and guitar, Alan Garwood on electric guitar & occasional saxophone, and Alan Nichols on drums ( a rare sight these days). The band were brilliant to listen to, and very professional in delivery, with all contributing vocally. We danced to most of their songs, which included - Digging Up Bones, Peaceful Easy Feeling, and Rockin’ Robin.

Bloxwich Library Theatre
Saturday night was just amazing at Bookmark Bloxwich
Theatre, when Bloxwich Library Forum presented accomplished Country
Music band KNOXVILLE HIGHWAY live on stage. And it says a lot about these
guys that they filled the house with our first capacity audience (more than
150!) since opening after the 2009-10 refurbishment. A great night out was had by all, filled with
toe-tapping and sing-along classics originally sung by the likes of of Hank
Williams, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, John Denver, Toby Keith, Johnny Cash,
Tracy Byrd, Jim Reeves, The Eagles, Glen Campbell, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers,
Alison Krauss – plus a few surprises including the band’s own songs. Suffice to
say that some of the words heard from the audience at the end of the show,
included “Wow! Thanks for bringing them to Bloxwich!”, “Simply amazing”, “Thanks
for a great night!” and “Bloody Brilliant!”

Great show last night in Solihull. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening -
amazed that a local band can sound so good! We'll be going to the show in
Evesham in June.

Wyre Forest District Council called me this morning and
they were gushing about your performance in Brinton Park, defo want to book you
for next year. I met quite a few people I know who were well impressed as I was.
Super, very pro and easy to work with.
Mark Ritchie, THE STAGE
Country band Knoxville Highway are impressive to say the very least.
From the deliverance-style banjo and guitar duel to the quality and warmth of
double bass and pedal steel guitar, these country boys gave it to us with both
barrels. Knoxville Highway are a joy to listen to.
Brickendon Grange Golf Club - Anniversary Party
I am
very pleased to say that we had a terrific evening on Saturday night and that
'Knoxville Highway' were very much part of that. A lovely group, very helpful
and pleasant. They had a terrific C&W, easy on the ear, sound that everyone at
Brickendon enjoyed. What a refreshing change to the heavy R&R sound that you so
often get these days. Brilliant!
Silver Trees Country
& Western Club
We booked
Knoxville Highway at the last minute due to a cancellation - and we're SO glad we
did. The dancers loved them and it was great to hear some old and new Country
songs played so well - we're having them back soon!
The Bull Hotel, Ludlow
Great to have you back - you're legends in The Bull!

...the audience really took to this band, with many people
giving them a standing ovation after a really good night that helped prove that
Country music is alive and well!
Sundown in Nashville CWC
Another fantastic evening at Sundown In Nashville CWC. A
good crowd came along to see one of the best Country Music bands on the circuit,
Knoxville Highway. They are a 5 piece band playing many different instruments
and certainly know how to keep their audience happy - Linedance, Western Partner
Dancers, Freestyle and Listeners all enjoyed a good selection of Country Music
and Tex Mex.
